Raising the Roof

The exterior roof, even though it will be covered in waterproof vinyl, will be epoxied and then painted. That's just in case any water finds it's way to sit there. The nice thing about the vinyl all the way to the back, using snaps, is that I can inspect the entire roof any time.

The interior roof will be the same color as the interior walls, nutmeg.  The stained spars give the interior a nice contrast with the nutmeg color.
The roof will start on the same spar where the screen ends.  A nice piece of trim, just in front of the roof line, will look nice when the vinyl gets rolled back.

UPDATE  04/01/2013
With a 50 degree plus day the roof has been glued in place.  The upper trim on the flat portion of the roof is also glued in place.  Next step is to add trim to front radius, then screen for the front , then vinyl for the entire top!
